Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

Experience

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in plant and machinery maintenance
• Prior exposure to road/highway construction projects is highly preferred

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Equipment Management

• Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of heavy construction machinery such as:
  • Asphalt Pavers
  • Excavators
  • Graders
  • Compactors
  • Batching Plants
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure high equipment availability.
• Monitor machine performance, identify potential failures, and implement quick solutions to reduce downtime.

2. Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of mechanics, electricians, and service personnel.
• Train and mentor team members in troubleshooting and safety practices.
• Assign manpower efficiently for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.

3. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of:
  • Service and maintenance logs
  • Equipment performance reports
  • Spare parts inventory
• Prepare and submit reports on machine utilization, breakdown frequency, and maintenance cost analysis.

4. Coordination

• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of spare parts and consumables.
• Work closely with project engineers to align equipment readiness with project execution timelines.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Enforce strict compliance with OEM recommendations and safety protocols.
• Conduct routine safety checks and audits for all machinery and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and statutory norms.
