🔹 BEL Probationary Engineer Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Electronics: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, or related disciplines.
• Mechanical: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Computer Science: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Electrical: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

Age Limit (as on 01-10-2025):

• General Category: 25 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• PwBD Candidates: 10 years relaxation (additional relaxation as per category rules)

🔹 Application Fee

• General / OBC (NCL) / EWS: ₹1,000 + GST = ₹1,180/-
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: No Fee

🔹 BEL Selection Process 2025

The selection will be based on two stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT) – 85 Marks
2. Interview – 15 Marks

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• General / OBC / EWS: 35% in both CBT & Interview
• SC / ST / PwBD: 30% in both stages

Candidates shortlisted from the computer-based test (in a 1:5 ratio) will be called for the interview round. Final selection will be based on the combined performance in both CBT and interview.

Selected candidates will be placed in E-II Grade with a pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000, plus admissible allowances and benefits such as HRA, DA, medical benefits, provident fund, gratuity, and insurance coverage as per company norms.
